I also have my music library on a NTFS partition (because I share it on my dual
boot and NTFS is the only filesystem that can be read from both and supports
permissions in Windows). Elisa did not add songs from this partition to library
at all. Triggering a manual re-indexing did nothing. The problem is caused by
the fact I excluded this drive from the search indexer (Baloo). After removing
this drive from the "do not search in these locations" list, and setting this
drive to auto mount at login, Elisa was able to add these files to the library
correctly. I think a check should be implemented, or maybe it should be
reworked to not rely on Baloo at all.
