SUMMARY
After merging 2 text files all trailing line feeds after the last non empty
line are removed. This includes the one in the last non empty line. When
merging C++ files gcc now complains about missing trailing line feeds.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. merge 2 text files
OBSERVED RESULT
EXPECTED RESULT
No automatic stripping of trailing line feeds.
