Without the warning requested here, the user's data can be irreparably destroyed. This meets the requirements of the critical status outlined in https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging#Severity: "A widespread, easily reproducible issue that causes data loss." Harald would you be interested in implementing this given your recent work and familiarity with KinfoCenter stuff?
