Okay, that's Arch. But with Kubuntu 19.10 with Plasma 5.18.2 it works the other way round! I did nothing but install everything properly. 'Apply' creates bullshit, from systemsettings5's point of view. With 'Sync' it works. Sorry, this was the very last time I explained it. No longer.
