High DPI is an issue of QT we use in Kdenlive.
Please test with the master and check if it's better without your workaround:
https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_mingw64/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/
(download the 7zip file so you haven't to install. Just run Kdenlive in bin
folder).
