            Bug ID: 363538
Summary: git master: fade to black doesn't fade correctly on
                    title clip which got resized
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Effects & Transitions
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Please note that only fade *to* black is affected by this bug, but not fade
*from* black. In addition, it seem to affect only *title clips* and then only
title clips that have been resized to be longer than originally created.

However, there is yet no known dependency on the moon phase at the time of this
bug report (which was filed at full daylight).

When applying the "fade to black" effect on a title clip and this title clip
has been resized to be longer than its original default size, then the "fade to
black" does not work correctly. Either no fading occurs or the fading is
incorrect in that it may start fading, but never reaching full black.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new Kdenlive project.
2. Create a new title clip.
3. Drag title clip onto timeline.
4. Apply "fade to black" effect to title clip in timeline.
5. Check by scrubbing with the mouse that the effect works as expected.
6. Now enlarge the title clip in the timeline.
7. Scrub again to see what happens.

Actual Results:
The title clip now does not fade properly to black.

Expected Results:
The title clip should properly fade to full black.
