Bug ID: 419833 Summary: Color Smudge Brush's Overlay Mode treats the space outside of the canvas as transparency Product: krita Version: 4.2.9 Platform: macOS Disk Images OS: macOS Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Brush engines Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: rainco...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 127380 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=127380&action=edit result of smudging SUMMARY With Overlay Mode on, Color Smudge Engine treats the space outside of the canvas as complete transparency, and smudge the transparency in. It's somewhat logical, but I highly doubt the result is intended, cause it effectively removes pixels from the layer. (see attachment) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a new file with Krita 2. Create a new layer 3. Fill the new layer with a solid color 4. Choose Blender_Knife_Edge 5. In Brush Options, check "Overlay Mode" 6. Smudge around the edge of canvas OBSERVED RESULT See attachment. EXPECTED RESULT Nothing should change. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS macOS: 10.14.6 Krita: 4.9.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
