Bug ID: 420095
Summary: We should be easily able to choose another unit of
mesurement instead of only "px", like "mm", "cm" and
"in" at the tool options when drawing shapes
Product: krita
Version: unspecified
Platform: unspecified
OS: All
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Brush Engine/Shape
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY We should be easily able to choose another unit of mesurement instead
of only "px", like "mm", "cm" and "in" at the tool options when drawing shapes
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create normal layer
2. select previous size at tool options
3. draw the shape
OBSERVED RESULT
Can't enter mm, cm or in, not even by writing. Only accepts px. A long way must
be done, by creating a vector layer, then drawing the shape, then selecting the
shape with selection tool, then entering measurements by writing "mm" or "cm"
after the number, at keyboard.
EXPECTED RESULT
Simply change px to another unit at tool options, even when in regular layer,
when using the shape tool.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Although said Krita is not for precise measurements, it has symetrical rules
such as to draw mandalas with the multi-brush... mandalas are a kind of
geometric design, that sometimes needs precise geometric and symetric shapes,
even if the background is a paint
