Please do this: stop rsibreak move ~/.config/rsibreakrc away mv ~/.config/rsibreakrc ~/.config/rsibreakrc.backup Now start rsibreak with strace saving to a file (make sure you have strace installed) strace rsibreak &> ~/strace_output On the "welcome" dialog, check the "Don't show again" and press the "OK" button Close rsibreak from the system tray.
