Same thing happens to me (with VNC, not RDP), so it has to be a generic issue:
Sometimes the toolbar doesn't appear in full screen mode, so I can't easily**
exit!
It doesn't always happen and I can't figure out a combination to make the
problem always reproducible.
**I can exit by using the krdc's disconnect keyboard shortcut (CTRL+W).
Try this Mark, I hope it works for you, if not pls check the keyb shortcut
settings.
