David Edmundson <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] Resolution|--- |NOT A BUG Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #1 from David Edmundson <[email protected]> --- See 741d877d7db22b2d9673dbf47d3a9f5d1ec93f47 in powerdevil Remove cpufreq and cpuhotplug options Offering these settings in the UI suggests that it actually makes sense to setup something here. In the vast majority of cases, the kernel makes the right decisions here, hence the options are misleading. For cornercases where you need to set these options, you directly call solid-powermanagement or a similar tool to do what you want. Patch by Holger Macht CCMAIL:[email protected]; [email protected] svn path=/trunk/KDE/kdebase/workspace/; revision=1106716 Unless that decision is refuted at its core and we re-expose all the options having one here for screensaver doesn't make sense. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
