In Kate Version 3.14.2, KDE Development Platform 4.14.2, when a user clicks the
menu item "Bookmarks", a window is displayed with an unlimited number of
columns of booksmarks. The spacing between the columns is large. There is also
a lot of space between bookmarks in a column.
In Kate Version 20.04.1, it is similar except there is a limit of 3 columns and
more space.
Rather than display the bookmarks in a window, display the bookmarks in a
scrollable list in the Sidebar (View > Tool Views > Show Sidebars).
