SUMMARY
After starting Kolourpaint for the first time, it's quick and responsive, but
after using it for an hour it is noticeably slow to respond, this continues
until you reach a point at which it's unusable. Shutting it down and starting
again, makes no difference. The only solution is to restart my pc. Logging out
and back in has no effect.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. extended use, an hour is more than enough.

OBSERVED RESULT
Takes anything up to a minute to switch function, i.e. change from line drawing
to circle drawing.
EXPECTED RESULT
Should switch function within seconds
