--- Comment #4 from Heinz Wiesinger <ppr...@liwjatan.at> --- Difficult to tell. I enabled the present windows effect to trigger on the left screen edge, and it behaves similarly to the panel, but it's not quick as mentioned in the other bug report, but maybe that's because it's a different effect (window switcher doesn't do anything for me) Present windows appears and disappears every time I hit the screen edge with the cursor, similar to the behavior of the panel with the exception that the panel unhide initially triggers twice, while present windows effect on triggers once (doesn't immediately unhide and reappear again). I think that difference is just because of a different timer or timing setting though. If I move the cursor very slowly to the panel and trigger it very carefully, it also only triggers the unhide once. If there's a constant cursor movement to the left, both the panel and the present windows effect will re-trigger in intervals, though the intervals appear to be shorter for the panel. With the present windows effect configured on the left screen edge, when I first hit the left edge, the panel unhides, and subsequent hits of the edge trigger present windows. With "No action" configured on the left screen edge I get the initial behavior described in my bug report, where the panel re-unhides every time you hit the screen edge. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
