Lagg while dragging applications
SUMMARY
Not sure if KWIN is the right place.
When disabling my laptop display and only using my external monitor extreme
lagg occurs. My CPU is normally 5-10% in idle and after disabling the laptop
display it goes down to 0-1%. It looks like some kind of power setting is
triggered when the laptop screen is disabled. Everything works fine when using
both the laptop screen and external monitor.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Kubuntu 20.04 LTS or Install Manjaro 20.0.3
2. Connect external monitor using HDMI.
3. Enable external monitor, disable laptop monitor.
OBSERVED RESULT
When the laptop display is disabled extreme lagg occurs. Button clicks take
ages to register while dragging an application accros the screen the old-school
windows trail appears(see attachment). The CPU furthermore goes from 5-10% in
idle to <1 % in idle.
EXPECTED RESULT
Normal behaviour, cpu usages remaining the same, no lagg.
