skanlite found devices
Skanlite finds two devices for a single scanner device. The hp officejet 7612
is a multi function and has an A3 glass. I have included an image of the found
devices. The first limits the area to A4. The second initially accepted to
preview A3, but failed to scan. Subsequently it refuses even to do a preview
and nags an invalid argument error message without providing any information at
all.
To update the drivers visited the hp website instead this message was shown:
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access
"http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01174360"; on this server.
Referred to the man page and read the following which seems very funny with the
languages that I know. Very serious bug that should be dealt with if intended:
