It's sub-menu is a list of occurrences of that clip in timeline. If the clip is not used anywhere in timeline the menu will be disabled (grayed out). Tested here with kdenlive-20.11.70-8a08988-x86_64.appimage Please test this procedure on last kdenlive version. If you find that this behavior satisfy your needs, please close this bug.
