System Setting corruption Picture
SUMMARY
NVidia driver is not properly initializing after waking from sleep, corrupting
System Settings main menu and any chromium based browser. Minimizing/retoring
or restarting the browser "fixes" the corrupted browser, but I have not found
anything that fixes the black System Setting menu.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use NVidia system with 435, 450 or 455 proprietary drivers
2. Sleep and wake system with chromium based browser open.
3. Note the corruption of the chromium window.
4. Launch System Settings and note the black System Settings main menu (no work
around to fix found yet other than rebooting).
This problem is also reproducible in Neon Dev Unstable with plasma 5.20.80, FW:
5.75.0
QT 5.15, kernel 5.4.0-48
OBSERVED RESULT
Corrupted chromium based browser windows, black menu drop downs in the browser,
and black main menu of System Settings.
EXPECTED RESULT
Non-corrupted video.
