"It works like that in Photoshop so it's not confusing" is not really a good
argument, there are plenty of options in Photoshop that works very confusing
there in my opinion. Krita doesn't want to be a clone of Photoshop, but to be
better than Photoshop in all situations where we can :D
However the feature you described sounds nice. Maybe it should be another
action though, like Ivan said.
