SUMMARY
Global clipboard is not working in files with UTF BOM character
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open attachment file in Kate
2. Select and copy the text
3. Paste it in any external application
OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing has been pasted
EXPECTED RESULT
Selected text has to be pasted
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: Windows 10 x64
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The problem is only with UTF encoded files with BOM-character. If I open any
other non-Unicode file, I will be anle to copy and paste the text to other
application using global (system) clipboard.
