A) text is not immediately recognizable like an icon, you've to read what the tab's description means B) in addition, menu descriptions are messy if several dockers stack on each other in the same area and the description is gonna be inevitably truncated. Why should I dock dockers in a new area if tabs *can* stay in a row, but don't do well, because of longer tab descriptions? I don't see the point.
