SUMMARY
Actually, on the timeline each clip can be selected and added to the previously
selected clip(s) by Shift+click only.
My suggestion concerns the implementation of clip range selection modes:
1. All clips from the currently selected clip to the new selected clip (e.g.
Ctrl+selection).
2. All clips to the right of the currently selected clip (e.g.
Ctrl+Right+selection).
3. All clips to the left of the currently selected clip (e.g.
Ctrl+Left+selection).
