STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. copy file(s) from nfs share to local harddisk with dolphin
2. file.so consumes 100% cpu time and the copy for the first file never
finishes
OBSERVED RESULT
copy of the first file never finishes

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
cp from cmdline works without a problem, copying the file to the nfs share or
copying the file around on the local harddisk works without a problem
