SUMMARY
Every action that requires elevated permissions fails.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Discover
2. Try to update/install anything

Password dialog never pops up

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This stopped working intermittently over the course of a week, sometimes it did
work and I could update through Discover but since the past week it is
impossible.
The last thing I did was remove a user called test, I tried to re-add a user
for a friend of mine and I had to to do it manually ever since.
My user is in the sudo and adm groups.
