I just pushed an update for 20.12.0 that should improve the situation to allow
installing downloadable content.
Regarding the downloadable item you are referring
(https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/20.08/linux/
), there is an issue with it because it is not a Kdenlive title template, but
instead a kdenlive project file. So it cannot be used as a title template.
