            Bug ID: 430447
Summary: Display glitches and possibly wayland session crash on
                    hi-GPU load
           Product: kwin
           Version: 5.20.4
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: platform-wayland
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: wwconstan...@protonmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
On high GPU load i have graphical glitches on my displays (multimonitor
configuration)
I tried to launch game (Cyberpunk 2077) through steam, and in places with hard
scenes i seem flickering lines on both displays(1st with fullscreen app and
secondary without it). When i stopped game or returning to menu, GPU loading
has lower and glitches stopped. If i don`t do this, wayland session can be
crashed and return me to login screen.

I didn`t seen similar reports from another users in Valve/Proton theme (i not
checked mesa) - most uses x11 session, and i didn`t seen similar reports from
GNOME wayland/sway users. As i think its compositor problem.

Game used wine(proton) + VKD3D-Proton DX12 to vulkan translator, and i didn`t
seen similar issue on his git branch. Sorry if i make wrong report

I tried disable second screen by system display settings, but glitches saves on
main screen, and i think multiscreen GPU use its not main reason

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install and Run Cyberpunk 2077 through wine (or maybe another app with
hi-gpu loading. Currently i seen this problem only with this game)
2. Go to place with use hi-gpu loading with dynamic scenes (on city) (higher
graphical settings can reproduce problem faster)
3. Look at glitches :)
