When I edit the EXIF viewer template in Preferences-Views-Exif Viewer the
changes are not reflected in the Metadata view panel on the right. For
example, I remove the "Photographic Information - ApertureValue" and then click
OK. I select some photos and the EXIF info still shows "Aperture" and a value
for that [F8 in this case] in the panel on the right. Nothing in the EXIF
panel seems to be able to be modified anymore. I set these preferences up a
few months ago and it worked at that time.
However, note that this seems to be only for the EXIF, as Makernote seems to
work okay.
This is on MacOS Catalina with the latest
digiKam-7.2.0-rc-20201228T154340-MacOS-x86-64
