Bug ID: 431224
Summary: KDEConnect daemon drops connections
Product: kdeconnect
Version: unspecified
Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: common
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
I have installed kdeconnect on both pc and android phone, they are on the same
network but can't find each other, pc is 192.168.1.4, phone is 192.168.1.2.
I tried troubleshooting. I can telnet from pc to android phone 192.168.1.2 1716
succeeds and stays on, but I can't telnet from phone to pc with 192.16.8.1.4
1716, thou ss -tulpn shows kde daemon listening on 1716 for both UDP and TCP.
When I try to locally connect with telnet 127.0.0.1 1716 connection is
established but immediately dropped.
Don't have any firewall running and when I start http server on port 1716 on pc
I can telnet to it from phone, so connectivity should not be a problem.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Try telnet to PC running kdeconnect on ip 1716
OBSERVED RESULT
Connection is established and immediately dropped
EXPECTED RESULT
Connection stays on
