Bug ID: 431735
Summary: Automatically assign predominant color of wallpaper as
background color
Product: plasmashell
Version: master
Platform: Manjaro
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: Image Wallpaper
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
SUMMARY
When you use the "Picture of the day" function that automatically switches
wallpapers, you have to set a background color. It would be nice if this
background color could be automatically found. At least it should be able to
toggle between black and white - so determine whether the wallpaper is
predominantly dark or light.
This way it would be possible to fully use the icon painting feature of the
Latte Dock, which paints the icons black or white relative to the background
color.
