Manjaro Plasma has pinned default shortcuts for dolphin etc. and when unpinned upon reboot they are reappearing. Any active app was minimizing to nowhere and had to be recovered by alt+tab. I solved this by removing all objects from the main task bar and adding each applet/widget such as launcher and system tray, re-sorting it all out from scratch.
