There is no way to specify my choice of mount options for external media -- e.
g. I cannot specify shortname=lower, noatime, sync, or any other options I
want.
This was reported against KDE4 as bug 168914 in 2008. It has been causing
grief ever since.

Steps to Reproduce:
N/A. This is technically an RFE, but it is a regression from KDE3(!).
