I observed it with the integrated terminals of Dolphin and Kate, I assume
anything that uses this component is affected. I tried disabling the
Transparency desktop effect, which didn't seem to have any effect.
I'm thinking it might be partly to do with graphics drivers, because on my
desktop with AMD graphics (which the video is recorded from), there is a
flickering, but on my laptop with Intel graphics, that "phantom window" behind
the terminal is black.
