SUMMARY
KDE Connect fails to detect my PC. PC may initiate pairing, but then is
permanently disconnected. I've been using an android phone and an android
tablet with my KDE Neon PC for years. KDE Connect on the Pinephone can see and
pair with the android devices and vice versa, but not with my PC. I can
initiate a pairing once from the PC, accept on the pinephone and it works -
briefly. Once kdeconnect is relaunched the PC shows as disconnected and can
never be brought up again. Only unpair/repair works and then only until
relaunch as above.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use an existing working install of kdeconnect on pc
2. Install kdeconnect on any of several pinephone distros
3. Attempt to pair with PC
OBSERVED RESULT
The pinephone will never see the PC and send a pairing request. The pinephone
can always see and pair with my android devices. I have tried this with several
pinephone distros and 3 different PCs (all running the latest kde neon) on two
different networks. Filing a bug is my last resort. This bug is similar, but
different from bug #357051 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357051
