            Bug ID: 432355
Summary: Gwenview tag view jumping to file location
           Product: gwenview
           Version: 20.12.1
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

I am attempting to use hierarchical tags to organise some of my photographs.

After creating them I can select them in gwenview from the home view (or from
the left button in the location bar) to view associated pictures. However
after the pictures appear to load in the browse view, gwenview immediately
jumps to a different location in my filesystem.

The new location appears to be related to the directory of the first picture
that is shown for a given tag.

A workaround I've found is to apply a filter for a tag-any will do-and then
clear it. After this the tag browser view remains stable and no longer
exhibits the jumping behaviour.

PS: This only appears to happen if the tag view results in a collection of just
pictures and not additional tags. E.g.

In the tag:Work "directory" the tag "tag:Work/Site" exists,
and so the view remains stable.

If I change into the tag:Work/Site directory, and here there are
only pictures, I experience the directory changing/jumping
        behaviour.
