Ad 3: The behaviour is tied to the top-left corner. When I click there it opens
claws. The click action becomes available roughly when you see the expose
illumination come up.
Ad 4: That stopped the behaviour but also made claws hide, so that I can't
acces it.
Thus it does seem related to your issue.
