A couple of observations might help though, I see lines like: ioctl(14, FIONREAD, [32]) = 0 read(14, "\3\0\0\0\0\2\0\0\0\0\0\0\20\0\0\0testfile2.txt\0\0\0", 32) = 32 appear when I write to "testfile2.txt". Could you be logging to a file and that file being indexed? I've also looked at: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports It's being actively updated.
