Those are supposed to be filled with values from /etc/xdg/kickoffrc, read by
contents/updates/obsolete_kickoffrc.js in the LNF, which writes them as
"favorites" into the appletsrc. kickoff then migrates them to kastats.
Something in the first part appears to be broken, as there is no "favorites"
key, but "favoritesPortedToKAstats=true".
