Bug ID: 433943
Summary: Can't use shortcut 'Ctrl+Shift+Left' due to "ambigous
shortcut" warning
Product: yakuake
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
Rebinding the shortcuts 'Ctrl+Shift+Left' (with 'Ctrl+Shift+Right' it's the
same) results in yakuake outputting a "ambigous shortcut" warning even though
the shortcut is only bound once in the shortcut settings of yakuake and no
global shortcut with the same binding exists on the system.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open yakuake shortcut settings
2. Bind any yakuake action to 'Ctrl+Shift+Left' or 'Ctrl+Shift+Right' other
than the one where it is the standard shortcut
3. Make sure no other action has that shortcut
4. Apply and exit the settings
5. Try to use either shortcut
OBSERVED RESULT
A warning with the following content pops up:
"The key sequence 'Ctrl+Alt+Left' is ambiguous. Use Configure Shortcuts from
the Settings menu to solve the ambiguity No action will be triggered."
EXPECTED RESULT
The action associated with the shortcut is taken.
