Thanks for your report! It is true, that you can not rename the source file
from within kdenlive. This is maybe a nice feature and I keep the report open
because of this.
BUT you can rename a file on the filesystem and use the "Replace Clip" option
to keep markers etc. (Tested with Version 20.12.3)
