           Product: kdenlive

                OS: Linux

          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR

SUMMARY
I have been using the two shortcuts "X" and "S" for a while now. This is all
good. But just a small suggestion to improve it. Now, I use my right hand on
the mouse, and left hand on the keyboard. And when I want to press "X" or "S" I
have to look away from the screen, and down on the keyboard. It would be nice
if I just keep my finger on the "X" key (cut), and when I click on it once, I
get the scissors, and when I click on the "X" a second time, it reverts to
"Select". This way I can keep my eyes on the screen, and know that the "X" is
either "cut" or Select"! In effect, the "X" key alternates between Cut/Select.
My two cents. Thanks.
