It's actually worse than I originally thought.
Both toolbars are returning w/o any user changes being made on *active
windows*.
1) Ctrl-shift-N an open konsole (that doesn't have the toolbars).
2) Sometimes this new konsole has the toolbars
2a) if it does, remove them
3) use it, keep it open
4) at some time later check it and you'll see the toolbars have magically
reappeared.
5) remove them, return to 3 and repeat...
They will *not* stay away.
