Bug ID: 439299 Summary: Latte-dock height Product: lattedock Version: unspecified Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: application Assignee: mvourla...@gmail.com Reporter: openmind...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 139741 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=139741&action=edit what it looks like when clicking on Latte's "Edit dock" menu item SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT During system start-up latte-dock takes abnormally lots of vertical space. EXPECTED RESULT Vertical space should be consistent with dock's actual height. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Latte occupies a huge chunk of vertical screen space as shown on the screenshot. Note that my screen is 1920x1080 so you can see how many pixels are actually eaten by Latte. It even prevents its own settings window from being displayed correctly (also visible on the screenshot). This is especially irritating when using "Always shown" or "Windows go below" modes, since it makes clicks on windows' area drawn on that space occupied by Latte to be caught by Latte instead of those windows. This is also applicable to Latte 0.9 but that version takes less vertical space than git's one. All these started in like January / February / March (I don't remember), at first I thought "OK this is a git version will be fixed soon" but now it seems that it is kinda specific bug which does not affect many people. The only thing that helps **sometimes** is restarting Latte with 'latte-dock -r', but there's no -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
