Bug ID: 440048
Summary: Applications "Requesting Focus" appear in the Task
Manager of all Virtual Desktops, regardless of
settings
Product: plasmashell
Version: 5.22.3
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
I have Unity loading a project in Virtual Desktop 4. In every Virtual Desktop
however, I see the "Starting Unity..." app:

Right clicking the "Starting Unity.." says it's in Virtual Desktop 4 already.
Setting it to be in all desktops has no effect.
My Task Manager settings (no changes to these has an effect):

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open any program that will request focus in this manner (**could a commenter
let me know the real name for this?**)
2. Change virtual desktops
OBSERVED RESULT
* App appears in task manager of all Virtual Desktops
EXPECTED RESULT
* App appears only in the task manager of the selected Virtual Desktop
