I am using an NVIDIA 9600 GT graphics card, by the way. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall OBSERVED RESULT Installation fails as dpkg isn't able to configure the nvidia-340 package. It also says dpkg: error: version '-' has bad syntax: revision number is empty/ SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 5.22 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.11.0-27-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 2 × Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz Memory: 3.8 GB of RAM Graphics Processor: NV94 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Unfortunately, that's all the information I am able to provide you with since I don't want to break my system down by installing the malfunctioning software. I've found a thread (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1853977) with the same problem but the fixes from there don't work for me. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
