Bug ID: 441590 Summary: All settings get shifted to the right when Right-click option is on two finger mode Product: systemsettings Version: 5.22.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_touchpad Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: jackhill3...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 141077 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=141077&action=edit Right-click mode set to two-finger mode SUMMARY When the touchpad Right-click option is set to "Press anywhere with two fingers", all options in the settings ui are shifted to the right (or perhaps if it's set to the other option then all options are shifted to the left?). I guess that this happens because the second Middle-click option disappears when two finger mode is enabled. This Middle-click option ("Press bottom left and bottom right corners simultaneously") is the longest option and therefore when it disappears, I think the settings window re-centres all options. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start with "Right-click" set to "Press bottom-right corner" 2. Set Right-click to "Press anywhere with two fingers" OBSERVED RESULT Middle-click: "Press bottom left and bottom right corners simultaneously" option disappears All other options get moved to the right. EXPECTED RESULT Middle-click: "Press bottom left and bottom right corners simultaneously" option disappears SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20210824 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION If two finger mode is already enabled and the touchpad module is launched, all options will appear normally and then instantly move to the right. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
