By 'project search' you mean the 'Find/Replace in files' action in the Edit
menu?
I can't reproduce the crash on master nor in 5.6.2.
Can you test with 5.6.2?
Also, does the crash perhaps happen only when the debugged executable is
paused?
Looking at the relevant code doesn't ring any bells, so I'd have to be able to
run it in a debugger to see what's happening.
