I wish there was a feature that allowed to to choose which metadata tag to sort
by. For example, if rather than sorting by EXIF (which doesn't take into
account time zone), I wanted to sort by XMP DateCreated, which DOES account for
time zone, I have no way of doing that.
Because EXIF dates take priority over XMP dates, the only ways I can think of
getting sorting accounting for time zone is to:
1. Delete all my EXIF dates so that my XMP dates can be used. Bad because I
need to modify my files just to get sorting in the app.
2. Change all my times to UTC. Undesired because it is harder to account for
daylight savings time if you really want to know the local time where the
picture was taken.
I wish I could just change the sorting to XMP DateCreated.
