Every now and then, the favorites (default) panel renders empty. It takes a few
tries and then it's filled with my favourites.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use simple menu as default start menu
2. Fill "All Applications" first panel with some favourites
3. Use menu
OBSERVED RESULT
Every now and then, the favourites panel is empty
EXPECTED RESULT
Show the favourites all the time
