            Bug ID: 444434
           Summary: Malfunctioning Nvidia driver
           Product: neon
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Neon Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: neon-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: folderkille...@gmail.com
                CC: j...@jriddell.org, neon-b...@kde.org, sit...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

I've waited too long for now.

Telling you the full story:
I've installed my Nvidia driver (RTX 3060) using the .run file from the
Nvidia's website as the "ubuntu-drivers autoinstall" installs fully unusable
driver (after a reboot I can only enjoy the black screen with console cursor).
After installing this version of the driver I couldn't manage the backlight
brightness level and after leaving hybernation it stuck at the level of 0.

Now I can't update my system as after updating something crashes and some black
shimmering lines appear on the screen. The only work-around I've found is to
disable compositing which is not suitable for me.
