STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.
Play/Paus media key.
Kde-connect plugins:
Probably you just need 'Multimedia control receiver' enabled.
But I had enabled:
Battery monitor
Big screen
Clipboard
Connectivity monitor
contacts
find this device
MprisRemote
Multimedia control receiver
Pause media during calls
Photo
Ping
Presenter
Remote filesystem browser
Remote keyboard from desktop
RemoteControl
Ring my phone
Run commands
Share and receive
SMS
System volume
Thelephony integration
virtual input.
Play a video on the linux computer in mpv with mpv-mpris installed, or I think
other player with dbus integration that makes it play/pause from pressing the
play/pause media key vill also work. Pause the video on the linux machine.
Cast from netflix to tv from paired Android telephone. Probably works casting
from any application.
2. press mediakey play/pause, the casting from the android phone stops.
Disable 'Multimedia control receiver'. try to start the local video with
play/pause again. The casting from the phone stops again.
OBSERVED RESULT
Casting on my android phone responds to play/pause media key even if
'Multimedia control receiver' is disabled
EXPECTED RESULT
Local play/pause of video playback

local/kdeconnect 21.08.3-1 (kde-applications kde-network)
Android: The last row in App info about KDE connect say: Version 1.17.0
Force stopping the android application makes kde-connect behave as expected.
But then I do not have a connection to the phone.
